Next up in our 'Good Business' series we talk to the extremely talented Graeme and Inga of Buird Pottery.
Buird pottery is made in Wirksworth in the beautiful Derbyshire Dales. Potters Graeme and Inga use Staffordshire clay to hand throw and produce their pots in their light-filled workshop which overlooks the garden and green hills in the distance.
Next up in our Good Business series we interview Emma and Becca of Joynd Quilts. Joynd is a wonderful textile company producing beautiful quilts, cushions, wall flags and more, from a small home studio in Brighton. Inspired by a shared love of Tennessee and taught to quilt from a young age by their Mum, Emma and Becca perfectly embody the small, modern family business.
In our latest 'Good Business' interview, we speak to Emma of Socko. We first met Emma a couple years back whilst we were both trading at the first ever Zero Waste Market in London. With Emma's love for craft, people and the planet it's no surprise that she has created an awe-inspiring range of beautiful and sustainable socks that are kind to the planet - along with incredible workshops reteaching the lost art of darning.
Next up in our 'Good Business' series we interview Katie of KP Studio, a wonderful potter and printmaker based in Brighton. Inspired by nature and past memories, Katie creates beautiful one-off pieces that are designed to last a lifetime, using low-waste design processes that are kind to the environment.
