What's your life motto?

Be scared but do it anyway.

What have you learnt so far?

The importance of collaboration. I don’t think I could’ve done anything without working with other brands and asking for help from other people.

Where is your favourite place?

My favourite place is my bed. I love to work in bed and I could sit there all day!  it’s my safe haven away from the hustle and bustle of life.

Name your three favourite words?

Love you mummy. I hope I am able to hear those words for many years longer.

What is your favourite food?

Growing up in Sydney, Australia I always had lots of seafood. So my favourite foods are definitely oysters and prawns and pretty much anything that comes from the ocean.

What can you not live without?

The first thing I thought of when reading this question was food. I am a real condiments queen and can barely live without my kimchi and tabasco. Also as a non-food item, I definitely couldn’t live without my phone right now I am doing pretty much all my work on my phone and really love the freedom that it gives me to work anywhere and at any time.

What is the last thing you bought?

The last thing I bought was a sweatshirt and a beanie from my friend’s businesses Heza and Glow & See. I am trying to support local and micro businesses especially right now in this time of so much uncertainty and instability.

What advice would you give to the younger generation?

Spend some time early on figuring out what you really love doing and then find a way to be able to do that for a living. Try to be patient and growing your career because most good things take a long time to build up to success.

Proudest moment?

This is a really hard question to answer. I think like most business owners I don’t spend enough time acknowledging achievements and proud moments. Building up the business and now working full time on it is something that I’m really proud of. Watching my kids grow and learn and be nice to each other on those rare moments is something that I am also proud of.

What’s next?

Next for Goodordering I am transitioning all our bags to be made from recycled materials. For Goodordering my goal is to keep growing the business slowly and solidly, connecting with my customers and building a business that I’m really proud of. I don’t believe in overnight success so each day has its own set of goals, challenges and proud moments.
